Hopefully my boat will be running here pretty soon so I would be opting towards the Big Man!

Go out and buy yourself a 13.5 footer and a center pin. You won't need those dang spinning reels anymore

Where's everyone located? I think either the Big Man or the Au Sab.

I'm free the weekends of Dec 6th, Dec 20th, Jan 3rd, Jan 17th, Jan 31st, Feb 28...

Also might have a few free days between xmas and new years.

I'd prefer after Jan 1st because I should have my slide in Camper by then...

Anywhere is fine with me.

We were slowly motoring through a run, and Breck's like "keep looking, see if we kick any fish out". We were motoring through one of my little go to winter spots, and I was standing up. Well, we somehow missed an apparent deadhead and WHAM!, next thing I know, my *** is toppling over, right onto my dang rods! I'm thinking "man, don't be both, don't be both". Oh yeah, both rods totally BLEW UP. I had just got a guide re-wrapped on both, and had them back for about 10 days   . Funny thing is, I wasn't as bummed as I thought I would be; I guess because it was just an unfortunate accident. If I would have been sitting down(like I should have been) or if I didn't have my rods on that side or if I didn't have both up front, see where I'm going with this  .....

I might be interested in this but I've never fished up there before. Can you provide a little info....shore fishing or boat, if a boat, would a 14' Jon boat w/7hp short shaft motor workout ok? Any lodging in the area? Thanks for any info.

Denny,
That would work just fine. Might be a little slow, but it will for sure work.

Everyone up for the Big Man? If so, let me know, and i'll start looking around for lodging, or do we want to camp?
